Offered from a local NJ estate is a pair of
Japanese Limited Edition CHOKIN ART PLATES by YOSHINOBU HARA Rare. Condition is Used.
These are PRE-OWNED ans still in EXCELLENT CONDITION,
Both plates are a Limited Edition Design by the renowned Japanese artist Yoshinobu Hara.
Hara, who has been carving his chokin masterpieces for 40 years, studied under the legendary master Risho Arita.
The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold.
This art form was handed down from generation to generation for over eight hundred years

These are the largest I have seen of this style and great subject matter!
There are no chips or cracks but light scratches from being stacked one on top of the other. See photos
