About Our Bathroom Vanities
Countertop
: Our vanities feature granite countertops. The top is pre-drilled to accommodate a standard one hole faucet. Additionally, all of our tops are sealed to prevent watermarks and common stains.
Please Note
: While vanity tops are pre-sealed at the manufacturing facility, stone surfaces require resealing from time to time. Resealing may need to be done sooner on some surfaces.
Sink
: The white porcelain undermount sink is included and pre-attached to the countertop. The sink requires a manual push-down/pop-up style drain, only included if the faucet is purchased from us.
Make
: Our functional cabinets are built with sturdy birchwood; the side panels and door panels are made of either solid wood, plywood, or veneer wood. Additionally, the back panel of the vanity has a piece of covering with a large opening for easy plumbing access.
Finish
: This vanity has a multi-layer, 12-step hand-applied finish and has been given proper time to absorb, following a 3-layer hand-applied varnish for increased durability and prevention from warping, peeling, or chipping in elevated humidity levels.

CURBSIDE DELIVERY POLICY
All of our shipments are delivered through
curbside delivery
with a contracted freight carrier. Please refer to this guide as freight deliveries are handled quite differently from package delivery services such as UPS and FedEx. R&L Carrier and SAIA Freight Line service most of our cargo deliveries. Read through the following to learn how to schedule a delivery appointment with the carrier and ensure that you receive your shipment in a timely manner.
Our listed shipping rates are for standard curbside delivery services performed by truck lines for ONE unit within the 48 states in the continent. We contract R&L Carrier and SAIA Freight Line to service most of our cargo deliveries. All deliveries are made as curbside deliveries during our freight carriers’ normal business hours with a 4-hour window, made as a pre-scheduled appointment. Usual transit times run between 3 – 10 service days. Even though the cargo is fully insured by the shipper (us) for damage during transportation,
the buyer may refuse the shipment if the cargo packaging does not appear to be in good condition
. Please be sure to provide your correct shipping address; otherwise, you may be responsible for any change of address fee charged by the carrier.
Curbside delivery
is the standard delivery service provided by most freight companies. Delivery agents will unload your items from the truck, but will not move the items inside your house or business, and will not assist with unpacking, setup, or cleanup.
– Shipments are delivered via freight carrier, oftentimes by a 53′ semi-truck, which weighs approximately 20 – 40 tons.
– Some rural areas, islands, or otherwise inaccessible locations (e.g. steep hills, gravel roads, long driveways, narrow roads, private roads, etc.) may not be deliverable by our contracted carriers.
– In some cases, the freight carrier may be able to provide a special arrangement (i.e. hiring a local moving company, renting a smaller truck for final delivery, etc.), however, additional fees will apply. Please feel free to contact us for details before purchasing.
SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY
The freight carrier might or might not contact you 24-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. We recommend that our customers call to schedule the delivery of your shipment at your best convenience. Do not plan to be home for the delivery based only on the tracking system as there may be a delay in arrival to the local terminal. Please call the freight carrier one day prior to your delivery to confirm the appointment.
If you miss your scheduled delivery, you can either pick up the shipment from the terminal, or pay a $75 re-delivery fee. In either situation, please contact us to make any further arrangements.
DAMAGED FREIGHT POLICY
All of our products are individually shrink-wrapped and secured to pallets when preparing for freight shipments. To ensure safer transit, all shipments are boxed with protective styrofoam and reinforced for extra safety measures. Nonetheless, damages may still occur during transit.
Before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt, please inspect the carton for any damages (i.e. crushing, dents, creasing, etc.) and note this on the delivery receipt. In order for us to file a claim for the damage, the customer must note
*FREIGHT DAMAGED*
on the driver’s copy of the Delivery Receipt or electronic device before signing for the delivery. The box cannot be opened until the Delivery Receipt is signed. If you are concerned about possible damages to the shipment based on the condition of the box, please note the damage as follows on the delivery receipt, then open the box. The driver is not required to wait for you to unpack the item and inspect it unless there is visible damage to the package.

With the damage noted, accept the delivery and contact us within 24 hours via email to report the damage. All damages must be reported to us with photo documentation within 24 hours from the time of delivery so that our customer representatives would be able to file a claim with the freight company in a timely manner. Please be sure to keep all the original packaging of the shipment for any return.
The action of refusing a delivery for any non-damage or non-defunct reason (i.e. wrong color), as per our discretion, is subject to a one time 20% restocking fee, plus the shipping costs from and to our warehouse.
Any insurance claim without a damage note on the driver’s delivery receipt will be declined by the freight carrier and will result in our inability to offer an exchange, return, or refund.
RETURN POLICY
The buyer will be refunded the full cost of the merchandise and all shipping charges if the reason for return is a result of our error. For quality control reasons, all items are inspected thoroughly before shipping.
If the return is not a result of our error and the item is returned unopened within 10 days of delivery, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise, minus the original shipping charge and the return shipping fees. As per our shipping policy, even if the item was shipped for free at the time of purchase, we still require the customer to be responsible for paying the standard shipping fee
and
return shipping to our warehouse.
Opened box items are subject to a one-time 20% restocking fee. If the item has been opened or shows signs of wear, the buyer may be subject to a partial refund and/or charges for original shipping and return fees. All returns must be authorized by us beforehand. The refund will be processed after the shipment arrives back to our warehouse location.
WARRANTY POLICY
All of our items come with a 90-day limited manufacturer warranty (for USA only) from the date of delivery.
If a Chans Furniture product is found to be defective in workmanship, at our sole discretion, we ask the customer to assist us by providing supportive pictures of the affected area in the report to our customer representative. This will assist us with assessing the damage to your product and determine if there is an easy resolution, or if a replacement is necessary. It is a part of our customer policy to recommend the best course of action for our customers in order to provide the most satisfactory solution.
This limited warranty is voided if the item has been subjected to faulty maintenance, abuse, liquid damages (finishes are water resistant, not waterproof), misuse, or other similar damage; if it was not installed properly or modified in any way.
For most replacements of product parts and accessories, including, but not limited to, faucets, drains, and backsplashes, we are only able to fulfill replacements on orders placed less than 90 days prior. As a part of our quality assurance program, each vanity is individually inspected and prepared for shipment in our warehouse.
Please note, that the seller’s option to exchange the product under this warranty does not cover any labor or other costs of removal and installation and the seller shall not be responsible for any additional costs.
BACKSPLASH POLICY
We offer backsplashes for an additional cost to your purchase of our vanities. The backsplash is pre-sealed by our manufacturers and is individually wrapped and packaged with the vanity for shipment. This is to protect the backsplash during transit by our contracted freight carriers, during which we have limited logistical supervision.
In the case of receiving a backsplash damaged or broken, please contact a customer representative. Even though we understand the frustration of receiving a product, which was damaged during transit, we can not guarantee safe delivery of the item. Due to the fragile nature of the marble backsplash, we are unable to ship out replacement backsplashes individually.
Alternatively, we have several recommendations for creative backsplashes, which will complement your new vanity. Our customers have used mosaic tiles, natural stone tiles, ceramic tiles, and large panels of frosted glass in the place of a standard backsplash. This is recommended to ensure safe and easy installation without the risk of damaging the vanity and countertop.
